Bipolar Disorder
Psychosis
The most common feelings that women describe when they come to me are sadness, worry, exhaustion, loss of interest in loved activities, disconnect from their baby or loved ones, frustration, not feeling like themselves, irritability, isolation, difficulty with sleep, changes in appetite and hopelessness.
I help women to better understand these feelings as well as give them a space to share without the worry of judgment. In therapy, I can help you to develop ways to deal with these feelings, so that you can get back to feeling like yourself again and so that you may have the life that you love.
IN THERAPY,
YOU CAN:
-
Learn to Identify and Express the feelings specific to you
-
Learn more about the reasons that women experience Perinatal Mental Health Issues (hint: it is not your fault)
-
Understand how these symptoms are “felt” or held in your body
-
Discover and Practice healthier coping strategies
-
Develop a “Self Care/Wellness Plan” specialized JUST for YOU!
I also provide Couples Therapy and Online Therapy to those in California.
